Welcome

Home page background speech bubble

Phoenix Talking Post is a completely free talking news & magazine service for blind & partially sighted people in the Lewes District.  We welcome new listeners.  You can find out more by going to either 'Our Story' or the 'Listeners' page, by telephoning us on 01273 913551 or by sending us a message using our Contact form.

Recording

We record the local news and a magazine every week. Usually there are a total of about 30 tracks including the music at the beginning and the end.

The recordings are then copied onto USB sticks, put into pouches and sent out by Royal Mail, one pouch each to each listener who has signed up to receive them.

When signing up, the listener can also be given a device to play the recordings, or the USB stick can be plugged into a computer.

Recordings

We hope to add a facility here so that you can listen to recordings from the website Please check back regularly for updates.
